Representing the Older Person:
Age Concern through its EngAge programme represents the views of older people and/or their carers by attending local forums ensuring their voice is heard.
-
Age Concern user/carer focus groups meetings are friendly and informal. New members are very welcome.
-
You can be involved via the telephone, returning questionnaires or one to one.
-
Attend conferences and events.
-
The only cost incurred is time and an interest in health, social and community services for people.
Volunteers: Our volunteers are invaluable and without them we could not deliver such a wide range of initiatives. Volunteers are formally recruited, offered appropriate training and supported to assist Age Concern in enhancing the lives of local older people.
