Mobile Information
& Advice Service- Dales Locality
In addition to the countywide service project we provide a Mobile
Information and Advice Service in the Upper Dales of Wear
Valley and Teesdale. The service offers one session per month in 24 village sites.
It offers both generic advice and information sessions as
well as specialised sessions, which can include topics such
as Will Writing, Home safety, Accident Prevention and Health
Topics. In addition the bus carries and demonstrates a range
of small aids and adaptations designed to empower and support
independent living at home
